Acton-based cyber security company, JUMPSEC, recently visited Dairy Meadow primary school for the third year running to share how they started their careers in cyber security and how to stay safe online. This is a highlight and joy in the JUMPSEC calendar for our team to work with the children and knowledge share.
As Ealing Borough’s security partner, JUMPSEC has teamed up with the council to collaborate and deliver social value to the community.
In a world where everything is going digital and children spend increasing amounts of time on the internet at young ages, it has never been more important to make sure they understand the risks online as well as the potential careers available in cyber-security.
For several years the school has invited JUMPSEC to engage with its pupils to help them understand how to stay safe online.
The recent visit was particularly inspiring, with representatives Lucy, Catrina, Farah, and Matt speaking about their own journeys into the cybersecurity sector and shedding light on the skills and values that have helped them build careers in this rapidly evolving field.

These discussions were designed not only to educate but to motivate: children saw real examples of the future versions of themselves, and gained insight into how everyday online decisions and personal interests can translate into future employment opportunities.
