An exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join a growing cyber security organisation based in West London. JUMPSEC continue to grow by challenging industry to think differently.

As an Account Manager your role will focus on maintaining and developing strategically important relationships across existing accounts, leading and setting the direction for one-off projects and contracted services. You will also be expected to identify, onboard and develop new accounts either through your own contacts or through marketing-generated leads.

You must be client focussed and thrive when helping to identify opportunities to help clients rather than selling an off-the-shelf product. If you have a ‘sell and run’ mindset this role is not for you.

Core Role:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish build and maintain long-term multi-level customer relationships to ensure sales targets are met and exceeded and that client satisfaction remains high.
  • Account Planning: Setting, documenting and executing the account strategy.
  • Opportunity Management: Accurate qualification with rigorous pursuit and forecasting of sales opportunities.
  • Account Growth: Discover areas within your clients where you can help the clients to achieve their objectives.
  • Thought Leadership: the ability to understand your client’s business and sector to provide insight.
  • Communication: Build rapport with clients to ensure effective verbal and written communications delivered both remotely and face-to-face (with UK travel). Includes preparation of detailed proposals, quotations and contracts together with any other admin required.
  • Self-Development: A hunger to grow yourself is essential both in terms of your own sales skills and continually updating industry knowledge.
  • Team player:Share, challenge and grow your team-mates as well as contribution to the development of the company’s capabilities.
  • Ability to travel: Designated accounts may be spread across the UK and will require face-to-face meetings and discussions – further details can be disclosed at the 1st stage of the interview process.

Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience as a successful Account Manager.
  • Proven ability in forecasting and hitting sales targets.
  • Proven ability in negotiating and closing business deals.
  • Experience in relationship selling.
  • Experience of using CRM systems.
  • Experience or interest in the cyber security industry is an advantage.

In support of the above criteria, candidates will be asked the following questions during the selection process:

  • How did you maintain and build client relationships beyond the sale?
  • How did you approach complex deals?
  • What was your approach to achieving and/or exceeding your sales target?
  • What was the scale of previous sales targets and the average deal size?
