JUMPSEC is experiencing an exciting period of growth and we don't see it slowing down anytime soon! As a result, we're looking for an ambitious and energetic cyber enthusiast to join our team in the role of Business Development Manager, helping to identify projects where we can deliver great outcomes for our clients.

This is an opportunity with high growth potential for the right candidate. You will be provided with client accounts with growth potential, primarily responsible for hunting new business and managing the entire sales cycle to drive long-term client relationships.

This role is demanding and requires a driven person passionate about helping clients identify and close their cyber challenges; therefore, experience in the cyber security industry will be advantageous. The unrestricted service portfolio includes Consulting, Strategic Advisory and Managed Services.

You will be required to:

  • Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.
  • Identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services.
  • Discuss promotional strategy with our leadership team and help to plan sales campaigns.
  • Understand your customers’ needs and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
  • Actively prospect with calls, LinkedIn, and email campaigns.
  • Organise and attend client meetings and scoping calls.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting.
  • Have a good understanding of JUMPSEC’s capabilities and be able to advise others about them.
  • Complete sales proposals and update customer information in our systems.
  • Ensure the highest quality of leads is maintained.
  • Conduct price negotiations.
  • Be determined to build your career as part of a successful team.
  • Must be happy working in a fast-paced, competitive, deadline-oriented environment while maintaining quality and excellence.
  • Designated accounts may be spread across the UK and will require face-to-face meetings and discussions – further details can be disclosed at the 1st stage of the interview process.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Proven consulting or IT managed services sales experience with a genuine interest in cyber.
  • Proven working sales experience at a mid-to-senior level.
  • An impressive sales track record in meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, people and soft skills are vital to us and this role.
  • A creative and innovative mind to think outside the box to contribute to the development of the sales team and the organisation as a whole.
  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with high-level negotiations.
  • Excellent planning skills and is punctual and organised.
