We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our business by identifying new clients and cultivating strong relationships with high-growth potential accounts across offensive and defensive consulting and managed services. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires consultative and creative selling, strong forecasting and pipeline management, and a proven track record in solving clients' cyber security challenges. If your background is wholly in reselling or product sales, this role is not for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including emerging markets, growth areas, and customer trends.
  • Develop strategic aims and objectives to drive business development and improve overall performance.
  • Collaborate with the Ops Board to discuss and plan sales campaigns and promotional strategies.
  • Conduct sales forecasts, analyse data, and present findings to senior management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key contacts within client organizations.
  • Actively prospect and engage potential clients through calls, LinkedIn, and email campaigns.
  • Organize and participate in client meetings and scoping calls.
  • Understand customer needs and develop effective plans to meet their requirements.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our services and effectively communicate their value to clients.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with potential clients.
  • Prepare sales proposals and maintain accurate customer information in our systems.
  • Ensure the quality of qualified leads is consistently high.
  • Drive personal and professional growth as a valuable member of our team.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, competitive, and deadline-oriented environment while maintaining a focus on quality and excellence.

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrable track record as a successful Account Manager or Business Development Manager.
  • Impressive sales achievements, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on soft skills.
  • Creative and innovative mindset, capable of thinking outside the box to improve sales strategies and approaches.
  • Experience in high-level negotiations.
  • Punctual and highly organized, with exceptional planning abilities.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £40-60,000 depending on experience and skills, with an uncapped commission structure, offering on-target earnings of £80,000 – £100,000.
